SUMMARY:International day of Education 2026
DESCRIPTION:This year’s International Day of Education brought together Namibia’s Global Peace Chain Ambassadors along with teachers\, law enforcement\, and youth activists who discussed the role of education in peace advocacy among Namibian youth. \n  \n   \nDiscussions included how to rope community members into assisting with sensitising and educating youth on the importance of world peace and the idea that it begins on an individual level. \nParticipants were urged to engage in school and community initiatives; participate in peace-building and education dialogues plus join GPC activities and campaigns. \nEncourage youth to be involved in decision-making through forums\, networking\, and peer mentorship.
